At Sabre we take Bioremediation very seriously. The past and current Industrial pollutions has destroyed a fast and still increasing number of soils and water ecosystems on our Planet. Fortunately and due to new discoveries and techniques many of today's recalcitrant pollutants in the environment will serve as food to microbes. We work under the highest ethical standards and our company is fully committed to provide solutions for speeding up biodegradation of harmful chemicals from years down to months and/or even weeks.
Bioremediation can be defined as any process that uses microorganisms, fungi, green plants or their enzymes to break down harmful chemicals and pollutants in order to return the environment to its original natural condition without the use of chemicals or other environmental damaging substances.
Bioremediation uses subsurface microorganisms to transform hazardous contaminants into harmless byproducts, such as Ethane and Water. Bioremediation relies largely on the enzymatic activities as well as extraordinary metabolic diversity of living organisms, usually microbes, to catalyze the destruction of pollutants or their transformation to less harmful forms.
Bioremediation is about ecology and ultimately restoring Earth.
Bioremediation is executed through Ex Situ or In Situ intervention.
Natural Attenuation
Ex:
Phytoremediation (hyperaccumulators) store heavy metals in vacuoles;
Sebertia acuminata's 20% dry weight is nickel;
Plants on the side of the highways are taking up lead from gas exhaust.
Bio-Stimulation
Ex:
Added nutrients (nitrate/sulfate) that cause blooms of naturally occurring microbial bioremediators;
Bacteria that metabolize polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons or polychlorinated biphenyls.
Bio-Augmentation
Ex:
Genetically Modified Bioremediators (G.M.B.) are altered organisms produced to manufacture proteins for desired metabolisms;
Yellow poplar tree given enzyme mercuric reductase thrives in mercury soil, cadmium;
Bacteria, linked to the jellyfish gene that glows, breaks down TNT. Bacteria spread on soil glows green near explosives;
Chakrabarty's patented oil eater bacterium, which combines 4 plasmids in one bacterial cell with the ability to degrade four components of crude oil.
Xenobiotics - substances foreign to an entire biological system (artificial substances, which did not exist in Nature before their synthesis by humans).
Metals - from ore extraction and/or manufacturing.
OUR MISSION
While today’s global governments, corporations and environmental organizations are debating and negotiating new stricter norms for slowly reducing massive spills or even attempting to stop polluting by shifting to water based non-chemical products, we have decided to act responsibly and participate in restoring the damage already done to our Earth and leave behind a clean, green environment for the many next generations.

WHY BIOREMEDIATION
No additional disposal costs;
Low maintenance;
Does not create an eyesore;
Capable of impacting source zones, therefore decreasing site clean-up time.
We can biodegrade over 90% of today's existing chemical substances classified as hazardous.
Our products meet EPA, FDA, NSF (USDA) requirements and can be shipped "Class 55" without restrictions and cautions, and contains absolutely NO HAZARDOUS MATERIALS.
